Covenants are extremely important in our lives as Christians. The definition of covenant is agreement; creation of a contract. There are good and evil covenants that affects all mankind. but as Christians, it is important to understand covenants due to the implications and affects that it can have on your life and the life of your family. Covenants result in and are the foundation of generational curses and blessings. If you have evil covenants in your family lineage your life will be affected by them. One way to know if you have an evil covenant active in your life, is if you have a sin in your life that you struggle to overcome. No matter how hard you try, you can't seem to stop. Your mother and/or father and one or both of your grandparents struggle or struggled with this same sin.
